Thriving in a wide range of soil and climate conditions, it makes an impact in the landscape with deep bluish-green sprays that are pointed at the tips yet soft to the touch. ‘Leyland’ provides valuable winter cover for songbirds and game birds, and bears small, ornamental cones in fall.
